ON-SITE CHILD CARE “KIDDIE CORRAL”
Catholic Charities provides quality supervised childcare services for children while parents shop. Children are engaged in activities that promote learning in the areas of socialization, nutrition, music, and reading.
ASSISTANCE AND RESOURCES
Care Coordinators assist and help parents connect with social services in the community, state and federal benefits, and additional resources. Clients also gain access to Catholic Charities programs and benefits screening.
Cooking classes in on-site kitchens, recipes, and additional nutrition education programs are regularly offered.
PHOTO ID BADGING
This program provides WIC participants and their children with a photo ID card for easy identification. The service is free.
The paternity establishment program is a free service to assist parents in acknowledging paternity. Trained representatives educate and inform parents of the opportunity to voluntarily establish the legal father-child relationship when the father is not married to the child’s mother.
FARMERS MARKET NUTRITION PROGRAM

During tax season, Ladder Up provides free tax return preparation at select locations for families who meet income criteria. Services include preparation of Federal and Illinois income tax returns, E-file, ITIN application assistance, and preparation of prior year tax returns and amended returns.
